2 Bedroom Cabin in Polebridge

As with all three of our cabins, Pronghorn sits on more than 20 acres of pristine forest and meadow. The expansive windows and roomy deck provide an unrivaled view north into Glacier National Park. On clear nights, your deck is also the perfect place to gaze at stars, which, due in part to our sparsely populated valley, are wonderfully bright.
Pronghorn features two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is also a full bathroom, with a combo shower and tub--complete with beautiful tile work. In addition, Pronghorn offers a fully-equipped kitchen, and a combined dining and living room area with an energy-efficient Jotul wood stove. Logs, which are cut from our own property, are provided. On your deck, there is a large bistro style table and chairs. Log accents abound throughout the cabin.
Last but not least, our namesake: Hay creek runs the course of our southern border. It is home to the endangered bull trout.

Summary: Beautiful cabin and views of the mountains in Glacier. Even watched a large black bear lumber across the field out in front of our cabin. The location is great. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to the Northfork.

Summary: We loved staying here. It was so quiet and cozy. The views are breathtaking and the wildlife that came and visited everyday was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be back soon.

Summary: Great location off the grid. The kitchen needs more serving bowls for salad etc. There were cobwebs in s few corners and the tub was not very clean.

Summary: What an amazing place! It is beautiful and in a wonderful location. We have no complaints, however, a few notes for anyone considering this cabin: (1) it is very difficult to cool the upper level and we found that we would be sleeping in near 80 degrees and it was 50 in the downstairs (2) the bathroom is downstairs (3) there is no path to the creek and there is no instruction in the cabin on how to find the creek - once located (helpful neighbors) there are "no trespassing" signs everywhere and a huge load of river rocks has to be climbed (possibly due to flood control?) and crossed to access the creek

Summary: This cabin made for the most perfect honeymoon. Amazing views and so quiet. It was great to escape and get away! Highly recommend!

Summary: The cabins were very beautiful with stunning views. We enjoyed being in a more remote area, without having to camp and this place checked all the boxes. It was a phenomenal place to rest after a day of exploring. We even saw a bald eagle during our stay. The owner was also very quick to remedy our grill that was out of gas. However, for the price of the cabin we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness. The tub had some scum in the bottom of it, and the cabin looked like it gets just sort of wiped down rather than a full cleaning between visits. We were also disappointed to learn basic linens means 1 towel and 1 wash cloth per person for the entire week we stayed.

Summary: Beautiful and tranquil setting. Cabin was cozy once we started a fire in the wood burning stove. The town of west glacier is about 45 minutes by car. The Polebridge Mercantile store is about ten minutes away and offers homemade pastries and pizza. Be sure to visit Home Ranch Bottoms for a welcome beer and good food, including vegetarian options. Our host was communicative and friendly. I would stay here again.
